I was in the Marine Corps for 36 months and 11 days and spent 2 years 7 months and 26 days of my service overseas. I was honorably discharged on November 24, 1945. On November 29, 1947, I joined the active Marine Reserve at the Naval Air Station in Dallas, and was honorably discharged on November 29, 1949.
